Nicholas Naughton works as an artist, teacher and designer in Kansas City, MO. He works on solo and collaborative projects, events and freelance design utilizing a number of printing techniques; from woodcut and relief, to intaglio, lithography, screen printing and letterpress. Growing up in Eastern Iowa, he has lived near agriculture most of his life. His work is part upbringing and part experience gained through traveling and studying around the world.
Naughton is currently a Charlotte Street Foundation Urban Culture Project studio resident. He splits his time running INKubator PRESS community print shop, teaching at the Kansas City Art Institute, and working in his studio. His work can currently be seen at the Moberg Gallery in Des Moines, IA and in the flat files at INKubator PRESS in Kansas City.
